Saskatoon Snow Removal, Done Before You Are Up
Saskatoon Snow Co clears driveways, walks, and lots across Saskatoon and the surrounding towns, so the first thing you do on a storm morning is drive away.

Who we are
About Saskatoon Snow Co
We are a Saskatoon snow removal company. Driveways, sidewalks, condo walkways, and small commercial lots, cleared through the winter on a seasonal contract or called out storm by storm.
Snow is the whole business, not a sideline picked up when the mowing stops. The equipment is set up for it, the routes are planned before the first flake, and the phone still gets answered in February.

Cleared before the commute
Route customers get cleared overnight and through the early morning, so nobody is shovelling in the dark before work.
Built for prairie cold
Salt quits working long before a Saskatoon January does. We carry sand and grit for the deep-cold stretches when salt is just decoration.
Snow is all we do
We are not a landscaping outfit with a plow bolted on for the winter. Every piece of equipment we run is here to move snow.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does snow removal cost in Saskatoon?
It comes down to the size of the surface, how it is laid out, and whether you want a seasonal contract or a call per storm. A standard front driveway prices differently than a corner lot with a long walk and a back lane. Tell us the address and we will quote the actual property instead of an average.
Do you clear after every snowfall, or only the big ones?
Seasonal contracts have a trigger depth written into them, so clearing happens automatically once a storm passes it and you never have to call. If you would rather decide storm by storm, we do that too, though route customers get cleared first.
How fast do you get there after a storm?
Overnight snow gets cleared through the early morning so driveways are open for the commute. A long storm that keeps falling gets a second pass once it stops, which is included on a seasonal contract.
Do you use salt or sand?
Both, depending on the temperature. Salt stops melting ice once it gets deep into the minus twenties, which is a normal Saskatoon stretch, so below that we switch to sand and grit for grip. On newer concrete walkways we favour whatever will not chew up the surface.
Do you handle sidewalks as well as the driveway?
Yes, and in Saskatoon the public sidewalk in front of your property is the part you are actually responsible for. The Sidewalk Clearing Bylaw gives residential owners 48 hours after a snowfall to clear it, and 24 hours if the property is non-residential. Most customers put the driveway, the front walk, and that sidewalk on one contract.
Can you take on a condo or a small commercial lot?
Yes. Small lots, condo and townhouse complexes, and shared walkways are regular work for us. Large industrial yards are a different equipment class, and we will tell you so rather than take a job we cannot service properly.
